Attic Mold Removal

Attic mold develops due to poor ventilation, roof, siding or window leakage, insufficient insulation and poorly installed insulation. If there’s insufficient ventilation or the home’s venting has been installed incorrectly, the warm moist air from the bathroom, kitchen and dryer can rise into the attic. This warm moist air mixes with the cooler attic air, especially during winter months, and creates condensation which leads to mold growth.

Selling a Home with Attic Mold

One of the most common scenarios we address for our clients is the sudden discovery of mold in the attic during a real estate transaction when the home inspector discovers mold in the attic. This creates immediate stress for the seller and often causes the buyer to back out of the transaction. We respond quickly in these situations to provide fair and competitive pricing too eliminate the mold and often save the transaction.

We do not "fog" or cover up the mold with "white paint" as some of our competitors do!

Our process completely removes the mold and typically 95% of the staining that can be associated with attic mold.
